Already I can see that I am going to spend hours on this. There is so much to take in and so much to learn. It is exciting and yet a bit mind boggling. After reading the general introduction it seems that the lessons will be delivered in 2 week blocks. During this time I will be encouraged to:
a) Contribute to the discussion board for each weekly topic
b) Blog your responses to the topic, tagging them with #edcmooc so that they feed into our daily EDC MOOC News mashup
c) Set up or join a room in Synchtube to discuss the film clips in real time with your peers
d) Create an image or other visual representation of your response to the topic and post it in a social media space. Tag it with #edcmooc
e)Tweet your thoughts - particularly if you can give a link to a blog post or other online artefact - to #ed
So I set to and explored a little of what has happened after day 1. Wow there are people everywhere, some have been at it since November. After looking at a couple of blogs I realised I should get my act together so created a new Blog on Blogger (this is it).

and created a new story about my up and coming trip to Turkey
